Ritual is a somatic, body-focused studio for women in midlife, rooted in Ayurvedic rhythm and nervous system care. Every service is designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and move through this season of life with more ease in your body.​

Our Offerings

Our offerings are designed as living rituals rather than one‑off appointments. From yoga, meditation, and pranayama to sauna, abhyanga, Ayurvedic consultation, Vedic counselling, and chakra work, each service is a different doorway into the same intention: helping women in Southern California move through life with a deeper sense of connection to their bodies and selves.

  • These 60‑minute classes are not about performance or perfection. They are gentle, intelligently sequenced practices designed for midlife women who want to feel grounded, clear, and more at ease in their own skin.​

    In class, you can expect:

    • Supportive, accessible yoga that honours different bodies, energy levels, and hormonal seasons.

    • Guided meditation to calm the nervous system and create a little more space around your thoughts.

    • Pranayama (breath practices) to regulate energy—whether you need to settle, steady, or gently uplift.

    Classes are ideal if you are navigating perimenopause or menopause, holding a lot at work and at home, or simply longing for a regular ritual that isn’t one more thing on your to‑do list.

  • A quiet, restorative space for your body to soften and reset.

    Ritual’s sauna sessions combine infrared heat and red light therapy to support circulation, detox pathways, and nervous system downshifting. The room is intentionally calm, so you can treat each session as a ritual, not just a box to tick.​

    A session may support:

    • Easing muscular tension and lingering stress in the body.

    • Deep, parasympathetic rest after long days of “being on.”

    • Recovery alongside yoga, strength work, or other wellness practices.​​

    You’re welcome to simply rest in quiet, or pair your session with a simple breath or meditation practice you’ve learned in class.

  • Warm oil, slow hands, and time to let your body feel cared for.

    Abhyanga is a traditional Ayurvedic oil massage that uses warm, herbal oils and rhythmic strokes to nourish tissues, calm the nervous system, and support lymphatic flow. At Ritual, these sessions are offered with midlife bodies in mind—bones, joints, hormones, sleep, and stress are all part of the picture.

    A session may support:

    • A deeper sense of grounding and “being back in your body” after long periods of overdoing.

    • More ease in joints and muscles, especially if you’ve been tight, braced, or at a desk.

    • Better rest and a softer landing at the end of the day or week.​​

    Touch is always offered with clear consent and respect for your boundaries.

  • A holistic look at your current season of life through an Ayurvedic lens.

    In an Ayurvedic consultation, we explore your unique constitution, current imbalances, and daily rhythms—from sleep and digestion to energy swings and emotional patterns. The focus is on small, sustainable shifts rather than overhauls.

    Together, you may explore:

    • How perimenopause or menopause is showing up in your body and mind.

    • Simple adjustments to daily routine, food, and self‑care that support your current season.

    • How to weave in practices like abhyanga, yoga, breath, or sauna in a way that feels realistic for your life.​

    You leave with a clearer understanding of what your body is asking for and a path that honours both ancient wisdom and modern reality.

  • A space to explore meaning, choices, and inner life with guidance rooted in Vedic philosophy.

    Vedic counselling sessions invite you to sit with the deeper questions that often arise in midlife—identity, purpose, relationships, and how you want to live the next chapter. Rather than focusing only on symptoms or goals, we look at your life through a wider, spiritual and philosophical lens.​

    Sessions may include:

    • Reflective conversation held with warmth and non‑judgment.

    • Simple practices drawn from yoga and Vedic teachings to support clarity and steadiness.

    • Gentle guidance on aligning daily choices with what feels true at a deeper level.

    This work can sit alongside therapy, coaching, or other support you may already have in place.

  • Chakra balancing sessions work with the subtle body—the energy centres that correspond with different physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of your life. These sessions are grounded and body-aware, tailored for women who are open to energetic work but prefer it held in a thoughtful, non‑trendy way.

    A session may include:

    • Assessment of where energy feels blocked, heavy, or overactive.

    • Gentle hands‑on or off‑body techniques, visualization, and breath to support balance.

    • Time to integrate and notice how your body and mood feel as you leave.

    Many women choose this when they feel “off” in a way they can’t quite name, or as a complement to other Ritual services.
